Project C will focus on international, culturally significant public art installations and custom-built monumental/sculptural architectural features . We will reveal the design processes, engineering, and the unique fabrication methods used. Project C will take a rare and unique dive into the egos, the passion, and the unique and bigger then life personalities behind each bigger than life creation.
Additionally, we will also explore the impact these art installations have on their local communities and culture. Project C will include interviews with various artists, technicians, engineers, fabricators, cultural historians, public art directors, and more to further understand what it takes to bring a larger-than-life vision to life.
We will document each step of the process to create an entertaining and informative deep dive into the fascinating process of executing large-scale public art installations. In addition, we will provide detailed accounts of how each project is funded and executed in different parts of the world. By exploring the stories behind monumental public works around the globe, Project C will highlight the effects public art can have as well as its immense potential for a positive impact on cities and societies. At the heart of Project C is an understanding that public art projects can create a sense of place, community, pride, and identity. From grand sculptures to interactive pieces, these works of art will bring communities together in unexpected ways.
